Our equipment features inspection covers along its entire length with seals to prevent vapor leakage, as well as a counterweight and hinge system for quick opening, plus a valve at the bottom to evacuate material and water when cleaning is required.
The new Conmetal screw model is made of carbon steel coated in 304 stainless steel, offering better corrosion resistance, more robust operation, easy cleaning and hygiene, and also comes with a 5-year warranty against shaft breakage.

Designed primarily for the fishing industry. The CONMETAL Cooker is equipment for continuous operation with indirect heating, ranging in capacity from 10 tons/hr to 60 tons/hr of raw material.
Both the cylinder and the rotor are heated with boiler steam.
The equipment is manufactured as a horizontal cylinder, through which the raw material is guided by a rotor configured as a screw conveyor. The screw flights are stamped and have been specially designed to achieve cooking in a shorter residence time, thus better maintaining the protein qualities of the product.
The CONMETAL Cooker is also designed for easy chemical cleaning. We also offer reconditioned equipment, the latter subject to availability at our plant.
Screw Conveyors
Conmetal screws are built to offer material transport solutions; for this purpose, robust helical screws are designed and built, guaranteed against shaft breakage, requiring low maintenance and offering a long service life. These
screws have various uses and applications, such as:

Our screws are easy to operate and maintain; their operating speed depends on the flow of meal to be transported, which is moved through the trough by the rotation of the helix driven by a gear motor.
The screws rest at their ends on two bearings which must be lubricated according to the manufacturer’s recommendations, with the appropriate frequency and amount of grease for each particular case.
Conmetal helical screws are manufactured with 304 stainless steel, as it is more resistant to corrosion.
In the manufacturing of the main shaft, we utilize the mechanical properties of carbon steel and coat the entire screw with 304 stainless steel.
