Our Model
Our innovative cooling technology uses seawater instead of air, offering an efficient solution for fishmeal production. This system offers multiple advantages:
- Reduction of pollution and odors: Minimizes the emission of unpleasant odors and atmospheric pollution.
- Efficient in warm climates: Ideal for regions with temperatures above 30°C for much of the year.
- Compact design and easy operation: Less space required and greater simplicity in handling.
Versatility: Compatible with a wide variety of products.
Features
The equipment operates through an indirect heat exchange system: the meal comes into contact with refrigerated walls under constant agitation. Additionally, a minimal counter-current airflow prevents condensation. Thanks to this design, air consumption in the cooling process is reduced by up to 90%.
The system consists of a housing and a rotor with water-cooled double-walled discs. As the product moves through the equipment, it is cooled in a counter-current flow with a minimal amount of air. This approach is ideal for protein meals, reducing the possibility of unpleasant odors. It can also be used for grains, provided they can tolerate constant agitation.
- Simplified installation: Eliminates the need for fans, cyclones, and gas scrubbers.
- Robustness and durability: Manufactured in stainless steel with few wear parts.
- Effective sterilization: Use of cold water for cooling and hot water for sterilization, preventing salmonella contamination.
- Accessibility: Design intended to facilitate maintenance and cleaning.
We manufacture equipment adapted to each client’s needs, designed according to mass and energy balances, with capacities of up to 50 tons per hour of raw material. If you require a larger industrial cooler, contact us to develop a customized solution.

Designed primarily for the fishing industry. The CONMETAL Cooker is a unit for continuous operation with indirect heating, with capacities ranging from 10 t/hr to 60 t/hr of raw material.
Both the cylinder and the rotor are heated with boiler steam.
The unit is manufactured as a horizontal cylinder through which the raw material is conveyed by a rotor configured as a screw conveyor. The screw flights are stamped and have been specially designed to achieve cooking with a shorter residence time and therefore better preservation of the product’s protein qualities.
The CONMETAL Cooker is also designed for easy chemical cleaning. We also have reconditioned units available, subject to stock verification at our plant.
Coolers

This innovative equipment was developed to significantly reduce air consumption in the protein meal manufacturing process, aiming to minimize the generation of unpleasant odors. It works through an indirect heat exchange system, where the product comes into contact with cold walls that are under constant agitation. Additionally, a minimal amount of counter-current air is used to prevent condensation on the surface of these walls. Thanks to this design, we have achieved a reduction of up to 95% in air consumption during the cooling process.
- Lower pollution: Reduces the emission of particles and odors into the environment.
- Greater efficiency: Its performance in warm climates is superior compared to air.
- Compact design: Requires less space and is easier to operate.
- Versatility: Supports different types of products and processes.
The system consists of a housing and a rotor with water-cooled double-walled discs. The product enters at one end of the equipment and, as it moves toward the other end, it is cooled in a counter-current flow with a reduced air flow. This design makes it an ideal solution for products such as protein meals, where contact with air could generate unpleasant odors. It is also suitable for cooling grains, provided they are not affected by the constant agitation to which they will be subjected.
