Conmetal pressing systems are equipped with a robust frame, designed to ensure durability and stability. This frame includes a stainless steel trough for the efficient drainage of press liquid, as well as a feed chute, also made of stainless steel, which ensures equipment availability and reliability.
The covers of the Conmetal pressing system, made of stainless steel, feature an innovative design that ensures efficient sealing of vapors, optimizing equipment safety and performance. Additionally, they have wide inspection doors, which facilitate convenient access to the system’s interior, providing greater space for maintenance and inspection tasks. The pressing system is equipped with a drive system designed to ensure efficiency and reliability.
Features
Ensures precise synchronization of the screws, improving system stability and reducing mechanical wear. It also incorporates an external lubrication system, which facilitates maintenance and extends the service life of the components.
The connection between the reducer and the motor via pulleys allows for efficient power transmission, reduces vibrations, and facilitates adjustments to the transmission ratio according to operational needs.
This type of motor provides a lower rotation speed, ideal for pressing operations, reducing the risk of overheating. Additionally, it ensures higher torque, which improves performance under heavy load conditions.
The screws of the pressing system are designed to optimize their structural strength and compression capacity. They are equipped with constant diameter flights and variable pitch, a key feature that allows for a compression ratio of 4.2, ensuring efficient performance in the pressing process and higher quality in the final product.
We currently manufacture presses with a compression ratio of (1:4.2) with high performance in press cake drying and low energy consumption.
We can manufacture them in carbon steel or stainless steel as requested by the client.

Designed primarily for the fishing industry. The CONMETAL Cooker is a unit for continuous operation with indirect heating, with capacities ranging from 10 t/hr to 60 t/hr of raw material.
Both the cylinder and the rotor are heated with boiler steam.
The unit is manufactured as a horizontal cylinder through which the raw material is conveyed by a rotor configured as a screw conveyor. The screw flights are stamped and have been specially designed to achieve cooking with a shorter residence time and therefore better preservation of the product’s protein qualities.
The CONMETAL Cooker is also designed for easy chemical cleaning. We also have reconditioned units available, subject to stock verification at our plant.
Presses
Our fish presses are constructed with 2.5 mm thick 304 stainless steel covers and trays. The core is made of special alloy cast steel that enhances its resistance, and it is clad with 3 mm thick 304 stainless steel. The gearbox is Sumitomo or similar. The drive system is connected to the reducer via a belt pulley.

The Conmetal pressing system operates on the principle of liquid removal through mechanical squeezing, achieved by two specially designed screws with a conical core and variable pitch. This design allows for gradual and efficient compression as the product passes through the helix. The main advantages of this system include its high energy efficiency, as it eliminates the need for thermal processes, significantly reducing energy consumption and operating costs. Furthermore, by not subjecting the product to high temperatures, its physical and chemical properties are better preserved. This, coupled with the reduction of heating-related emissions, makes the process more sustainable and environmentally friendly. Finally, the optimized design of the conical core and variable pitch ensures continuous operation adaptable to diverse production needs.
Our equipment comes with a two-year warranty, ensuring reliable and robust operation.
1.- Press feed (prevent it from overfilling) visual control through the sight glass
2.- Press speed (1 to 5 rpm) depending on the raw material to be processed
3.- Press working pressure (120 to 160 bar) depending on the raw material and the press manufacturer’s specifications.
4.- Press cake outlet moisture less than 50% (46 – 50%)
The equipment is cleaned by washing with high-pressure water, using a minimum force of 350 bar. Before proceeding, the equipment must be adequately cooled. Then, the top covers are opened, and washing continues until they are completely free of residue. During this operation, special care must be taken not to apply cold water if the equipment is still hot, to avoid thermal shocks that could cause irreparable damage.
Regarding maintenance, it includes a flow and temperature meter for the gearbox oil. The bearings have integrated grease fittings.
